Hi everyone

I'm Chloe and I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in December 2024 just before Christmas, which was an extremely tough time for myself and my family. It's not something that you think will ever come to your door, and when it does it's devastating! I started chemotherapy in January and the tough times have continued. 

I am so grateful to have such amazing friends and family for support, I truly couldn't have gotten through this without them. Of course my diagnosis has had an impact on everyone in my life, however the strength of my amazing friends and family has been amazing and has kept me going, I am so grateful for them all!

I don't feel like there is enough talk about ovarian cancer; the symptoms to look our for and how it can make you feel, as it can be misdiagnosed for the likes of IBS in my personal experience, and therefore not detected until it has progressed. So I am hoping that by taking part in this walk together we can raise a good amount of money to help support those diagnosed and for future research.
