Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
My Updates
Who am I?
Friday 7th NovI’m Camron, I’m from London, and this year I’ve decided to use my little corner of the internet to do something that actually matters.
Like most people, I’ve known people affected by cancer. It’s one of those things that hits close to home in different ways - whether it’s family, friends, or just someone you’ve grown up around. But what really stood out to me is how little people actually know about ovarian cancer.
It’s one of the more unknown cancers, and that’s part of the issue. The symptoms can be easily missed, awareness is low, and research funding has been dropping - even though early diagnosis can literally save lives.
So, I’m fundraising for Target Ovarian Cancer, a charity doing real work to change that. They help improve early diagnosis, fund research, and support women and families who are going through it. And the support part matters - nobody should feel like they’re dealing with this alone.
I’m not a doctor, a researcher, or anything like that. I’m just someone who cares - and someone who believes that small actions add up. If I can raise awareness, spark one conversation, or help get support to the people who need it, then that means something.
So that’s what this page is about.
Doing something meaningful.
Doing something human.
Thanks for being here and reading - it genuinely means a lot.
If you can donate, share, or just take a moment to learn the symptoms - thank you. You’re helping more than you realise.
