Manchester Marathon 2026

Why I’m fundraising...

I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Why I'm Doing This...

Sunday 16th Nov
First and foremost, thank you for visiting my page! If you could take a couple of minutes to read this, I would genuinely appreciate it.

This year I wanted to support a cause that doesn’t get the visibility it should.

When you hear the word cancer, a lot of things come to mind, and like most people I’ve known people affected in different ways. The problem is that ovarian cancer isn’t usually the first one anyone thinks of. It’s rarely spoken about in the same way as others. Because of that, the signs often get missed and diagnoses come far too late.

It was that lack of awareness which pushed me to choose this cause.

I’m raising funds for Target Ovarian Cancer because they’re one of the few organisations actively working to change that by improving awareness, developing better early detection, supporting those affected and investing in much needed research.

I’m ever so grateful to have the opportunity to raise awareness for such an important cause that isn’t on most people’s radar. If this can help even one person pay closer attention or feel that bit more supported, then it’s 100% worth doing.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this. If you’re able to donate, share, or even just learn some of the symptoms to look out for, it would really mean a lot!
