Why I'm fundraising...

This charity is incredibly close to our hearts. We as a family are taking part in this event in order to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer in memory of my Nanny Sylvia, who we sadly lost in October 2022 to the disease.

Losing her left a space in our hearts that can never be filled. She was a kind, loving, strong person and was always there with a smile, a hug, or words of encouragement. Not a day goes by that she isn’t thought of and missed by all of us.

By taking on this challenge, I want to honour her memory and celebrate the amazing person she was. I also hope to help make a difference for other families facing the heartbreak of ovarian cancer by supporting vital research, awareness, and support services.

Every step I take will be for my Nanny Sylvia, and every donation, will help continue this important fight. Thank you for taking the time to read this and helping me keep her memory alive. Any support is really appreciated, no matter how small. ❤️
