Ovar-Dressed Belfast 2026

Why I'm fundraising...

I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed Belfast to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

My Updates

In memory of my Mum

Sunday 12th Apr
Ovarian cancer, a silent cancer, one that can take a while to diagnose, and by that time one that can often be at an advanced stage. My Mum kept putting off going to the Doctor, when she did, we were told gallstones, we thought ok, an operation and she’ll be sorted. We did not think for one minute my Mum would be alone in hospital (Covid times) being told she had cancer. Took over a further 2 months before we found out what type of cancer, ovarian cancer, stage 4. As a family our lives changed at that time forever. Even while Mum was with us and going through treatment, we felt we were losing her everyday. Then that day came. Mum was finally free of the horrific disease. Our hearts broken. That’s why when we came across this fundraiser, it was a no brainer. If we can raise any amount whatsoever to help research this horrible disease, then we will. All 15 of us. If you can donate and support us it would mean the world to us. Thank you so much.
