Ovar-Dressed Belfast 2026

Why I'm fundraising...

There are some causes that feel deeply personal and this is one of them.

I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed Belfast, to raise both funds and awareness for ovarian cancer. This isn’t just something I’ve signed up for; it’s something that means a great deal to me and my family.

I’m walking for my Nanny, who we lost to ovarian cancer. Anyone who knows me, knows she was my best friend and honestly, she was the strongest person I’ve ever known. Her loss is something we feel every single day as a family and there isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t think about her, miss her or love her.

This walk is for her- for her memory, her strength and the love she gave us.

I’m proud to be supporting Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. Their work focuses on what truly matters—raising awareness of symptoms, improving early diagnosis, developing better treatments and supporting everyone affected by ovarian cancer. These are the things that can change lives and prevent other families from experiencing the same loss.

Fundraising can feel like a small act but it’s part of something much bigger. Every donation, every share and every conversation helps raise awareness and brings us one step closer to better outcomes for those affected.

This is more than just a walk. It’s a way to honour someone incredibly special to me and to be part of a cause that matters.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give no matter how small..really means a lot❤️
