Thursday 16th Apr Around 7,400 Women are being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer each year. Many will put off going to the doctor as they overlook the symptoms that they are experiencing due to the mimicking of less serious conditions - which is why Ovarian Cancer is also known as a Silent Killer. The delay in diagnosis can result in a higher stage of cancer being found which is exactly what happened to my Nanny Sylvie - My best friend, My rock and the most amazing woman to roam this earth. Watching my Nanny fight this Cancer is one of the worst things I think I will ever experience and it changed me forever. October 2022, my angel became free of the pain that the horrific disease brought, our hearts were broken and still are. So when we found this charity we knew we had to get involved!
