Why I'm fundraising...

I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed Belfast to help raise funds and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives. The money raised will all go towards raising more awareness for symptoms, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer. 

Me and all of my family will be taking part in a walk on Sunday 7th of June in support of my nanny who passed away in October 2022 from this disease. It was caught in the very late stages so sadly was terminal by the time it was caught. Whenever we saw this fundraising we all thought it was a no brainer and signed up straight away. The fundraiser is helping to spread awareness of what symptoms look like and provide funding for vital research to help fight against this.
